New York City Commuter Rail Lines is a line theme representing New York City Transit Commuter Rail Lines, including routes for Long Island and Metro North rail road systems. Attribute data includes the names of the lines, names of the railroads and type of train service. Raw data was acquired from files from the New York State Department of Transportation. Data is provided in the projection NAD83 to align with the NYCMap basemap. The realigned data has not been thoroughly checked for accuracy.
