Summary

NYC Freight Rail Lines is a line theme of major freight rail lines in New York City and Long Island. Attribute data include the name of the line, name of the railroad, use, owner/operator and type of train service. Raw data was acquired from files from the New York State Department of Transportation. Data is provided in the projection NAD83 to align with the NYCMap basemap. The realigned data has not been thoroughly checked for accuracy.
