This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Amstelaedami Emporii totivs Evropae celeberrimi nova et accvaratissima delineatio = Naaukeurige afbeelding van de wydvermaarde koopstadt Amsterdam. It was published by Reiner & Josua Ottens in [1727]. Scale [1:7,650]. Covers a portion of Amsterdam. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Dutch National Grid: RD (Rijksdriehoekstelsel) GCS Amersfoort (Bessel 1841) coordinate system. All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map. This map shows features such as roads, bridges, drainage, canals, wharves, docks, built-up areas and selected buildings, water mills, city wards, and more. Includes illustrations and indexes.
