This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Africa : drawn from the latest and best authorities / T. Kitchin del. ; engraved by G. Terry. It was published by John Harrison, N. 115 Newgate Street on Augt. 31st, 1787. Scale ca. 1:27,500,000. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Africa Sinusoidal projected coordinate system.
