Summary
This polygon shapefile contains statistics on race, employment, disabilities, education, occupations, marital status and residency in Costa Rica taken from the X Censo Nacional de Población y VI de Vivienda 2011. The census information was collected between May and June of 2011 by the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (Costa Rica). The questionnaire and survey report for this census are included with this download. These data are intended for researchers, students, and policy makers for reference and mapping purposes, and may be used for basic applications such as viewing, querying, and map output production.
