This data represents public land survey system (PLSS) corners for Bayfield County in 2023. [This layer contains PLSS section corner records on file in Bayfield County.Link to metadata information: https://www.bayfieldcounty.wi.gov/437/GIS-Metadata For the 2023 submission, some duplicate values were included as-is since some of the attributes are unique (coordinate values, surveyors, field work dates, comments etc.). Unique corner numbers may be assigned in the future to better sort and manage these duplicate corners. Our GIS Web Map shows all records for a single corner combined into a multi-page PDF; this will be a great resource for the public if the statewide PLSS database doesn't include duplicate corner records.]
