The project, titled City Nature (http://citynature.stanford.edu) was undertaken by researchers at Stanford University, led by Jon Christensen. This data was developed by Karl Grossner, assisted by Noemi Alvarez.This dataset is the product of a 2013 study seeking to explain the significant variation in areas of parks, open space and "park-level greenness" in 38 large U.S. cities, at the scale of neighborhoods.
