Summary: This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic blueprint map entitled: Paumotu Archipelago, Fakahina Atoll, chart by J.Ch. Garnier, Captain of the Port of Pape?te. December 1897 ; copied from the original, 29th Septr. 1899, at Papeete Tahiti by H.C. Fassett, U.S.F.C., under the direction of Commander Jeff'n. F. Moser, U.S.N., com'd'g U.S. Fish Comin. Str. 'Albatross'. It was published by the United States Fish Commission in 1899. Scale [ca. 1:15,200]. Covers Atoll Fakahina, Archipel des Tuamotu, French Polynesia. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the 'Mercator' projection. All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map.
