    Summary: This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Upper Charles headwaters : Milford/ Holliston/ Hopkinton / prepared by: Robert J. Buckley and Beals and Thomas, Inc. for the Milford Conservation Commission and Upper Charles Conservation, Inc. It was published by Beals and Thomas ca. 1990. Scale ca. 1:9,000. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Massachusetts State Plane Coordinate System, Mainland Zone (in Feet) (Fipszone 2001). All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or other information associated with the principal map. This map shows features such as roads, railroads, drainage, cities and other human settlements, territorial boundaries, shoreline features, and more. Includes also lands owned by the town, Boston Edison, Milford Water Company, and New England Power Company. This layer is part of a selection of digitally scanned and georeferenced historic maps from the Harvard Map Collection. These maps typically portray both natural and manmade features. The selection represents a range of originators, ground condition dates, scales, and map purposes.

    Summary: This polygon shapefile includes neighborhood boundaries supplied by Zillow.com, the Los Angeles Times and the City of Denver, and variables related to (A) parks, open space, greenness, and "pavedness" (impervious surface) together with (B) a number of demographic variables from the 2010 U.S. census. The project, titled City Nature (http://citynature.stanford.edu) was undertaken by researchers at Stanford University, led by Jon Christensen. This data was developed by Karl Grossner, assisted by Noemi Alvarez.This dataset is the product of a 2013 study seeking to explain the significant variation in areas of parks, open space and "park-level greenness" in 38 large U.S. cities, at the scale of neighborhoods.
