    Summary: This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Carte de la partie méridionale de l'Afrique : pour servir d'intelligence aux deux voyages de Levaillant. It was published by: H.J. Jansen et Compagnie, Imprimeurs-Libraires in 1795. Scale [ca. 1:2,250,000].. Map in French. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the WGS 1984 World Mercator (EPSG: 3395) coordinate system.
