    Summary: This layer is a georeferenced image (GeoTIFF) of a digital bathymetric model (DBM) compiled with all multibeam, dense single beam and land data added at 500 x 500 meters resolution. The original (DBM) was compiled with all multibeam, dense single beam and land data added at 500 x 500 m resolution in a final step using the remove-restore method. Data were compiled from several multibeam cruises in the region dating from 1994 to 2011. The goal of this initiative is to develop a digital data base that contains all available bathymetric data north of 64° North, for use by mapmakers, researchers, institutions, and others whose work requires a detailed and accurate knowledge of the depth and the shape of the Arctic seabed.     Summary: This layer is a georeferenced raster image (GeoTIFF) of a digital bathymetric model (DBM) of the Arctic Ocean compiled with all multibeam, dense single beam, and land data added at a resolution of 30 x 30 arc seconds. This is a reprojected version (WGS84) of the 500 meter resolution data layer. The original (DBM) was compiled with all multibeam, dense single beam and land data added at 500 x 500 m resolution in a final step using the remove-restore method. Data were compiled from several multibeam cruises in the region dating from 1994 to 2011. Kitchin, sculp't. It was published ca. 1769. Scale [ca. 1:4,800]. Covers Manhattan below 14th St. and a portion of Brooklyn. 'Survey'd in 1767.' The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zone 18N NAD83 projection.   14. Title: 2016 (May) Mass Transit Spatial Layers for New York City Geodatabase

    Summary: The layers in this Sqlite Geodatabase were created from the GTFS data feeds from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to represent major routes and stops for buses and trains throughout New York City. A python script was written to take the data files as input and plot and save them in the local state plane coordinate reference system. This dataset is intended for researchers, policy makers, students, and educators for basic geographic analysis and mapping purposes. It was created by the GIS Lab at the Newman Library at Baruch College CUNY as part of the NYC Mass Transit Spatial Layers series, so that members of the public could have access to well-documented and readily-usable GIS layers of NYC mass transit features.
